one of our friends, miller, is currently really into final fantasy XI .. as are many other geeks the world over. and he was telling us about this korean guy who didn't follow the warning label on the box (don't ignore your friends, school, work, family etc) and ignored all the abovementioned units and more (i.e. food, water, toilet ??) and died before he could complete the game ..

which reminded me of this guy in singapore who died while masturbating. it's true !! it was in the newspapers. this young soldier (still doing National Servitude) was wanking to porn over the internet when he just had a heart attack and died. and (quoting the straits times): "the next morning, his filipino maid came to wake him up, and discovered he was not moving. she also described the floor as being covered with a sticky substance" ..

imagine the eulogy at *that* funeral..

tell me i'm not the only one who finds this ridiculous ? we went to this place in northbridge today to rent chinese movies. stephen chow movies like shaolin soccer n other perenial favourites. and this place we went to rents PIRATED VCDs and they still charge $100 for a half year membership..and if you aren't a member u pay a $20 deposit PER CD u rent..plus it's $0.55 a day per disc. isn't that mad. mercenary asian bastards..
